About

I am a PhD candidate in English (Horror Studies) at Flinders University, Adelaide, South Australia. I work as a casual academic and professional at the university. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Hons), and am a university medal recipient and winner of the Ann Flaxman Prize for the student with the highest Honours GPA in English (2022). I received The Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship in 2023.

In 2024, I was part of the successful grant for HASS Visiting Research Fellow. I also co-run the Flinders Gothic Reading Group.

Outside of work and academia, I like to make art, partake in reading challenges, and play with my pet rats, Petra, Peach and Pazuzu. I have a keen interest in history, especially regarding the medieval period, Tudor England, and the Cold War.

I acknowledge that I currently reside on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people, and respect their spiritual relationship with their country.
